SEQ NAIDOC Spiritual Gathering

On Sunday 6 July 2008, to commemorate NAIDOC Week in SEQ, the djaywunti crew will be hosting a Spiritual Gathering. Last year we had over 200 people attend. It is great to get together, united by Christ, and to celebrate our culture and spirituality. We look forward to Pastor Rod Minniecon bringing "A Message of Justice." There will be kids games and testimonies as well as sharing in a meal. Jaggera Arts, 2-4:30pm.

 

ngiyaani Gathering

ngiyaani (nei-yarn-ey) is from the Gamilaraay (gar-mil-a-ray) language and means "We All." We had around 300-400 people come and join us at Dash/Duggan Street Park in Keperra. It was a great day of celebraiton with the Fingal Crew providing some music, JC Epidemic wowed the local mob with their bike stunts and Murri Christmas was previewed through our Black Santa. It was a great time for all. Thanks to Brisbane City Council, Black Diamonds for support and NWAICA partnering with us.
